UAE President honours Indian ambassador with Zayed II Order

Sharjah 24 – WAM: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the First-Class Order of Zayed II on Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the UAE, in recognition of his efforts to strengthen and advance comprehensive strategic relations between the two countries across various fields.

Decoration presented by minister of foreign affairs

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the decoration to Ambassador Sunjay Sudhir during a meeting held in Abu Dhabi.

Emphasis on strategic UAE-India relations

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the deep strategic ties between the UAE and India and commended the Ambassador’s significant contributions in enhancing this distinguished relationship throughout his tenure.

Ambassador expresses gratitude

Ambassador Sunjay Sudhir expressed his sincere appreciation to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his wise leadership and the prominent regional and international role he plays. He also thanked all UAE government entities for their cooperation, which positively impacted the success of his mission to strengthen historic bilateral ties.
