Mohammed Al Sharqi reaffirms Fujairah’s support for sporting talent

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received champion Majida Al Ketbi, a member of the UAE national taekwondo team, at Al Rumailah Palace following her bronze medal win at the Asian Games in Malaysia.

Celebrating Emirati sporting success
His Highness congratulated Al Ketbi and her family, praising her achievement as part of the growing record of Emirati successes in regional and international sporting events.

Continued support for athletic development
He reaffirmed the Fujairah government’s commitment to nurturing athletic talent and recognising their accomplishments. He also highlighted the steadfast support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, in encouraging athletes to enhance their skills and proudly represent the UAE on global stages.

Athlete commits to further growth
Majida Al Ketbi expressed her appreciation for the Crown Prince’s support and pledged to continue training and striving for greater achievements.

Officials in attendance
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah and President of the UAE Taekwondo Federation, along with Al Ketbi’s guardians.
