Sharjah 24 – WAM: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning for Saturday regarding strong winds that may stir up dust and sand, potentially reducing horizontal visibility in some areas.

Weather forecast for Saturday

The NCM forecasts clear to partly cloudy weather across the UAE, with a chance of cumulus cloud formation in the eastern region, extending to some inland areas. Rainfall is expected, and conditions will become humid by night and into Sunday morning in some western areas, with a possibility of light fog.

Wind conditions

Winds will be light to moderate, becoming active to strong at times, especially in areas with cloud activity. These winds may cause dust and sandstorms, affecting visibility. Wind direction will be southeasterly to northeasterly, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h in some areas.

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf

The Arabian Gulf will experience light to moderate turbulence.
