His Highness praised the efforts of Sharjah’s police personnel for ensuring community safety and security. He commended the integrated work and strategic modernisation of the Sharjah Police General Command in line with leadership aspirations.
His Highness wrote in the Golden Book of Distinguished Visitors, expressing his appreciation for the round-the-clock dedication of police personnel and the use of advanced technologies and systems to serve the citizens and guests of Sharjah.
He viewed a visual presentation on the Sharjah Police General Command’s strategic direction and the 2024–2027 framework. Key goals included enhancing security, traffic safety, crisis preparedness, community partnerships, customer service, and innovation.
His Highness was briefed on public survey results, which showed 99.7% felt safe in the community, 97% community confidence in Sharjah Police, and 96.7% confidence in police stations.
He observed the Command’s initiatives to address community issues, which included 17 traffic awareness campaigns and 151 anti-drug awareness programmes.
His Highness rviewed the customer satisfaction rate of 97.8% and was informed about progress in digital transformation, intellectual property, employee satisfaction, and strategic partnerships.
The Deputy Ruler toured the Operations Department, equipped with AI-based systems to manage security reports and tasks. He also learned about network integration with traffic cameras across the emirate.
His Highness received a detailed briefing on the Reports Management Centre, including 999 emergency report platforms, 24/7 monitoring systems, patrol coordination platforms, and early warning systems for gold and money exchange stores.
He was introduced to the 901 Call Management Centre, which handles non-emergency inquiries and enhances communication between police and the public.
The tour concluded with a visit to simulation rooms designed to train police personnel in managing real-time reports effectively.
His Highness was accompanied by Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ruler’s Office; Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police; and several senior officers and police leaders.
