His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi praised the strong progress of higher education in the UAE, affirming that the true wealth of the nation lies in its investment in human capital. He stressed that today’s graduates represent the foundation of the country's comprehensive development, supported by the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness highlighted that Ajman University has evolved into an academic and intellectual institution that contributes meaningfully to national development through its distinguished graduates. He expressed appreciation for the efforts of the university’s Board of Trustees, administration, and academic staff in positioning the institution as a respected name both locally and internationally. He extended warm congratulations to the graduates and their families, emphasizing that graduation marks the start of a new chapter filled with professional growth and valuable contributions to society.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi noted that the graduation of the second cohort of the Class of 2025 reflects the university’s continued role in developing human capital, promoting scientific research, and responding to the needs of society by producing skilled professionals. He highlighted the institution’s efforts in nurturing generations armed with knowledge, culture, and values, strengthening its reputation across the region and beyond. His Highness also underscored the dedication of the UAE’s leadership to empowering students and promoting education as a cornerstone of national development.
The graduation ceremony was graced by the presence of several prominent figures including Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department and Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees; and Dr Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment and a member of the university’s Board of Trustees. The event was also attended by heads of government departments, academic deans, faculty members, and the families of graduates.
Dr Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, expressed gratitude to His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for his continued support and visionary leadership, which has been pivotal in achieving the university’s strategic objectives. He also acknowledged the Crown Prince’s steadfast backing in creating a competitive and innovative academic environment that promotes research, community responsibility, and the holistic development of youth. Graduate Abdullah Hussein Al Rumaithi, delivering the speech on behalf of his peers, expressed pride in the education they received and thanked the leadership, university administration, faculty, and their families for their unwavering support.
At the conclusion of the event, His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, accompanied by the Crown Prince, honoured the postgraduate and top-performing students. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, joined by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Dr Karim Seghir, distributed graduation certificates to all graduates. As a mark of appreciation, Sheikh Ammar presented a commemorative shield to the Ruler of Ajman, followed by a similar presentation to Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
