Al Orouba ends season with win over Dibba Al Hisn

Sharjah 24: Al Orouba secured a 2-1 victory against Dibba Al Hisn in their final match of the ADNOC Pro League season, held at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium.

Final round clash marks end of campaign

The match was part of the 26th and final round of the league. Despite the win, Al Orouba remained in last place with 13 points, while Dibba Al Hisn stayed in 13th with 16 points. Both teams had already been officially relegated to the First Division prior to this game.

Goals highlight Al Orouba’s morale boost

Al Orouba took the lead in the 72nd minute with a goal from Araujo dos Santos. Just six minutes later, Tiecoura Traore doubled the lead with a second goal in the 78th minute. Dibba Al Hisn managed to pull one back through João Victor in the 80th minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.

A bittersweet end

Although the result did not affect either team’s standing, the win served as a morale-boosting end to Al Orouba’s challenging season in the ADNOC Pro League.
