Al Wasl beats Bani Yas to go 2nd in ADNOC Pro League

Sharjah 24: Al Wasl secured an important 3-1 victory over Bani Yas at Zabeel Stadium on Tuesday, as part of Matchweek 25 of the competition, climbing to second place with 46 points, while Bani Yas remained at 26 points in 11th place.

Goals

Al Wasl opened the scoring with an own goal by Bani Yas player João Victor in the 12th minute. They doubled their lead through their player Siaka in the 52nd minute, before Bani Yas narrowed the gap in the 60th minute through Lazar Marković. Al Wasl then extended the lead with a third goal by João Pedro in the 87th minute.
