FNC, Senate of Pakistan discuss parliamentary cooperation

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Dr Tariq Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), welcomed Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, at the FNC Secretariat headquarters in Dubai.

Focus on strengthening bilateral relations

The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral and parliamentary cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan. Both sides highlighted the importance of increased coordination and consultation on shared regional and international concerns.

Attendees emphasise friendship and collaboration

The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Issa Al Kashf, Chairman of the UAE-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Committee, along with several FNC members, reflecting the mutual commitment to deepening inter-parliamentary ties.
