Unifying Armed Forces marks as milestone in UAE's journey

Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, delivered a speech on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the unification of the UAE Armed Forces. “The unification of the Armed Forces nearly 50 years ago was a significant moment in the history of the United Arab Emirates. This important decision helped create a strong sense of security and stability for the nation. It acted like a protective shield, safeguarding the achievements of the country and supporting ongoing progress and prosperity, which the people of the UAE have been able to enjoy thanks to a safe and secure environment,” His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem said.

His Highness added, “The UAE Armed Forces represent our pride and honor, showcasing the spirit of bravery and commitment in protecting our beloved homeland. Today, we recognize the hard work of our brave soldiers, who face every challenge with strength and determination. Their sacrifices and dedication play a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of our nation. They truly are our defenders and support system, helping to build a bright present and a hopeful future for all of us.”

“We pray for the safety and protection of the UAE and its wise leaders. We hope that the country continues to enjoy peace and stability, and that our Armed Forces achieve great success in their efforts. We envision this military organization as a shining example of commitment and unity, serving as a symbol of our nation's strength and the bond among its people. We wish the United Arab Emirates, along with all its organizations and communities, continued growth and accomplishments that bring honor to the nation,” said His Highness.
