Humaid bin Rashid appoints new DG for Ajman Economic Department

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued Emiri Resolution No. 6 of 2025 appointing Saif Ahmed Musabah Al Suwaidi as Director-General of the Department of Economic Development in the Government of Ajman.

The Resolution is effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette of the emirate.

Al Suwaidi brings with him over 29 years of experience in public service within the UAE government. He joined the federal government in 1994 and held several key positions, including being responsible for establishing the first federal service centre model based on international franchise standards.

His career progression includes serving as Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in 2016, followed by his appointment as Under-Secretary of the Ministry for Emiratisation Affairs in 2022.
