UAE, Italy reaffirm growing ties through parliamentary dialogue

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council (FNC), met with Stefania Gabriella Anastasia Craxi, Chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee in the Italian Senate, in Abu Dhabi.

Deepening bilateral relations

The meeting reaffirmed the strength of UAE–Italy bilateral ties, which continue to grow across multiple sectors, supported by the leadership and governments of both countries.

Focus on parliamentary cooperation

Both sides emphasised the importance of enhancing parliamentary collaboration and increasing coordination on issues of mutual interest.

Promoting peace and shared growth

Al Nuaimi highlighted the key role of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting international peace, security, and prosperity, and called for stronger parliamentary relations that foster shared interests and sustainable development for both nations.
