Mansour bin Zayed joins Iftar with Presidents guests, officials

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, hosted a Ramadan Iftar banquet at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by employees from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Zakat, the UAE Council for Fatwa, scholars who are guests of the UAE President, and members of the Tawazun Council.

Exchanging Ramadan greetings

During the banquet, Sheikh Mansour exchanged Ramadan greetings and best wishes with the attendees, praying for the health and prosperity of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and for a blessed Ramadan for the UAE and its people.

Discussion on Ramadan values

The gathering focused on the importance of fostering values of communication and compassion during Ramadan. The attendees also praised the "Guests of the UAE President’s Programme," which is under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and overseen by Sheikh Mansour.

The year of the community initiative

The Ramadan programme, extending across the UAE, includes religious lectures, Ramadan evenings, humanitarian activities, and media programmes, all contributing to the goals of "The Year of the Community" in the UAE.
