UAE welcomes conclusion of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace deal

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the announcement by the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia on concluding peace negotiations, expressing hope that this historic step would strengthen communication, dialogue, and stability. The UAE aims for this peace process to foster development for both countries and across the Caucasus region.

UAE's support for security and peace

Lana Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs, emphasized that the UAE fully supports the measures agreed upon by the two nations to enhance regional and international security and peace. She expressed optimism that this settlement would lead to a new era of sustainable and constructive cooperation.

Nusseibeh also highlighted the UAE's deep-rooted relations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, reaffirming the UAE's commitment to bolstering cooperation between the two nations to achieve mutual interests.
