During the meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, the Mauritanian Prime Minister delivered a written message from His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of Mauritania, highlighting the close ties between the two nations and ways to strengthen them in various fields.

Strengthening UAE-Mauritania relations

His Excellency Mokhtar Ould Diay also conveyed the greetings of the Mauritanian President, wishing His Highness continued good health and prosperity for the UAE. In response, His Highness asked the Prime Minister to send his warmest regards to President El Ghazouani and his wishes for Mauritania's progress.

Focus on economic and investment cooperation

The meeting addressed ways to enhance fraternal relations, particularly in the economic and investment sectors. Both sides discussed opportunities for shared development that would benefit both nations and their people.

The UAE President and the Mauritanian Prime Minister exchanged greetings for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, praying for blessings and prosperity for both nations and the wider Arab and Muslim world.
