Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation sends Ramadan aid to Gaza

Sharjah 24 – WAM: In alignment with the UAE’s commitment to supporting humanitarian and relief efforts for the Palestinian people, the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation and the International Charity Organisation have sent 375 tonnes of Ramadan food aid and sanitary supplies to relieve 15,000 affected families in the Gaza Strip. This is part of the "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" initiative.

Directives from UAE leadership

This initiative was carried out under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, with diligent follow-up by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.

Continued humanitarian support

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi emphasised that the UAE continues to provide humanitarian support to Gaza, in line with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives, and in the spirit of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s legacy. The initiative reflects UAE’s enduring values of solidarity, especially during Ramadan.

Contributions from the International Charity Organisation

Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the International Charity Organisation, noted that the initiative reinforces the UAE’s humanitarian approach, embodying the values of generosity and compassion. The first phase of the air and sea aid convoy has already launched, with the total aid value at AED 14 million, including food, medical supplies, first-aid kits, and essentials for women and children.

The aid operation is part of the UAE’s broader commitment to sustainable humanitarian support, reaffirming its values of goodwill, generosity, and solidarity with affected people.
