Sheikh Mansour discussed the strategy with His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on its key pillars, implementation mechanisms, and future projects that aim to improve villages and regions, enhancing their economic and tourism potential.
The strategy revolves around four key pillars: Economic, Social, Tourism, and Cultural development. The Economic Pillar promotes micro-economies and job opportunities, while the Social Pillar focuses on strengthening family cohesion and supporting youth and senior citizens. The Tourism Pillar aims to develop tourist destinations, and the Cultural Pillar preserves and promotes the cultural heritage of rural areas.
The strategy places significant emphasis on sustainability, using key performance indicators to monitor progress and measure outcomes. Various initiatives aim to enhance infrastructure, create employment, and raise awareness of the historical and cultural significance of these regions. The Emirates Villages Project and the Qidfa and Masfout Development Projects are key examples of this sustainable development model, aimed at improving remote areas and providing economic opportunities.
