Sharjah 24 – Reuters: Manchester City secured a dominant 4-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday, marking their first back-to-back wins since October. Erling Haaland scored twice, delivering one of City's best all-around performances in recent weeks.

City moves up to sixth, Hammers struggle

The reigning champions are now in sixth place with 34 points, 11 behind leaders Liverpool, who have two games in hand. West Ham, who were coming off a heavy 5-0 defeat to Liverpool just six days earlier, remain in 13th place with 23 points.

Early goals set the tone

City took the lead in the 10th minute when West Ham's Vladimir Coufal deflected Savinho's shot into the far corner. Haaland doubled the lead in the 42nd minute, heading in a long cross from Savinho.

Haaland's brace and Foden's contribution

After the break, Haaland scored his second when Savinho played a through ball that the Norwegian striker calmly chipped over goalkeeper Alphonse Areola. Phil Foden extended City's lead in the 58th minute before Niclas Fullkrug pulled one back for West Ham, but it was too little, too late as City cruised to victory.
