Fujairah CP: Equestrian sports enhance Arab cultural heritage

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, highlighted the importance of preserving equestrian sports as a key part of Arab cultural heritage.

The crown prince of Fujairah made this statement during his attendance at the Fujairah International Show Jumping Championship, where he crowned the winners of the "One Round Against Time" category at the 130 cm level.

Emphasising national iIdentity and heritage

Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the need to promote equestrian sports to strengthen national identity and preserve Emirati traditions. He also praised the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, for such events, which help embed Emirati heritage in the hearts of future generations.

Continued exciting competitions

The championship, part of the Fujairah Equestrian Championships, continues until December 29, showcasing exciting competitions. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including His Excellency Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Hajri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports, and Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation.
