As part of the UAE's 53rd Union Day celebration, the event featured the largest and most meticulously organized military parade in the country's history, highlighting the dedication of armed forces personnel.
In an interview with Sharjah 24, Colonel Jamal Nasser Al Balushi highlighted that the national service program has successfully reached a significant 10-year milestone. The program has experienced consistent annual enhancement since its notable inception, evolving from registration and medical examinations to fundamental, specialised training and active service. He commended the evolution of participants into skilled professionals, embodying deep values of loyalty and a sense of belonging.
Colonel Al-Balushi emphasized that the program has effectively cultivated future leaders who thrive in both the government and private sectors, demonstrating remarkable dedication and service to their nation. He characterised national service as a crucial milestone in shaping generations grounded in noble values and steadfast loyalty to the UAE.
He highlighted that there are current and upcoming initiatives aimed at further improving the national service program, which is in line with the UAE's ambitious vision for the future.
