Abdullah bin Zayed meets Emirati students studying in Australia

Sharjah24 - WAM: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, today met with Emirati students studying in Australia as part of his working visit to the country.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah learned about the students' academic journey and fields of study.

He also encouraged them to work diligently and persevere in their educational journeys, always aspiring for academic excellence until they return to the UAE to contribute to its development and prosperity.

He also emphasised that Emirati students studying abroad are ambassadors of their homeland, embodying its authentic values and global stature as a distinguished model of tolerance, coexistence, and cultural exchange. He expressed his wishes for them to have a successful and enriching educational experience.

He also affirmed the commitment to providing them with all forms of support and care throughout their studies at Australian educational institutions.

The Emirati students in Australia expressed great pride in meeting Sheikh Abdullah. They pledged to always be exemplary ambassadors for their homeland abroad and to continue their academic journeys with ambition and a commitment to excellence. They aim to return to the UAE and participate in its comprehensive and sustainable development.

Following the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah attended a presentation given by representatives of the UAE Embassy in Canberra. The presentation included statistical data on the number of Emirati students studying in Australia, and their majors of study. He also got acquainted with the main services provided to support students throughout their studies abroad and enable them to succeed and excel in their educational journeys.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Fahad Obaid Al Taffaq, UAE Ambassador to Australia.
