Sharjah signs 3 players for Asian Handball Championship

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Club has strengthened its men's handball team with the addition of three professional players ahead of the Asian Handball Championship, set to begin in Doha on November 12.
The new signings include Zarko Markovic, a player for the Qatari national team from Al-Gharafa; Erhad Aljodzic, a goalkeeper for the Qatari national team and Al-Arabi; and Rachid Benmahmoud, a player for the Tunisian national team from Shabab Al-Ahli.

The trio will join Sharjah’s external training camp in Doha, which concludes just before the championship begins.

Sharjah is placed in Group 1, alongside Al-Rayyan (Qatar), Kuwait SC (Kuwait), and Al-Shabab (Bahrain). Group 2 features Al-Duhail (Qatar), Al-Khaleej (Saudi Arabia), Kazma (Kuwait), Ahli Sidab (Oman), and Mes Kerman (Iran).
