Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, emphasized the importance of investing in mineral resources and promoting geological tourism in the UAE, highlighting their significant role in enhancing the national economy.
This came during His Highness's reception at Al-Rumaila Palace for the guests and delegations participating in the Ninth Fujairah International Mining Forum, hosted by the emirate in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, and the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization.
His Highness welcomed the forum's guests and participating delegations, wishing them success in achieving the desired objectives from the discussions on investment opportunities in the mining sector, sustainable development goals, and reaching outcomes that enhance the mining sector's contribution to the country and promote geological tourism to support the national economy.
He reaffirmed the leadership's commitment to foresight in the mining sector and support for digital innovation in mining projects, emphasizing the need for optimal exploitation of mineral resources.
