Sharjah24: In an effort to enhance the partnership between University of Sharjah (UOS) and Department of Housing, Professor Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, Chancellar of the University , welcomed His Excellency Engineer Khalid Al Mehairi, Chairman of the Department of Housing , to discuss collaboration on a new research project aimed at studying the housing sector in Sharjah. This initiative will be carried out by the Research Institute of Humanities & Social Sciences aims to develop a systematic plan to address housing issues. The project will focus on exploring opportunities for the development of the housing sector and aims to create policies and strategies to tackle the challenges faced by the sector.
Humaid Majoul Al Nuaimi expressed the importance of this research project, emphasizing the university's role in providing scientific and practical solutions to meet community needs.
He noted that cooperation with the Department of Housing is a strategic step that contributes to achieving the future vision of Sharjah and providing a comprehensive housing environment that meets the aspirations of its citizens.
His Excellency Engineer Khalid Al Mehairi affirmed that this collaboration reflects the commitment of both parties to provide sustainable and effective solutions for the housing sector in Sharjah, indicating that the Department of Housing will offer full support for the project, which reflects their dedication to enhancing sustainability in housing development within the emirate.
The meeting was attended by Professor Moammar Al Tayeb, Deputy Director of the University for Research and Graduate Studies; His Excellency Engineer Ibrahim Al Hosani, Director of the Department of Housing ; and Professor Faker Al Ghrayeb, Director of the Research Institute of Humanities & Social Sciences.
