Sharjah24: His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), announced during a press conference held on Wednesday at King Fisher Lodge in Kalba, that " Shurooq " has signed a sponsorship agreement with Kalba Football Club (KFC). The collaboration seeks to strengthen cooperation in sports and investment between the two entities.
In a statement to “Sharjah24”, His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer highlighted the crucial role that "Shurooq" plays in enhancing Sharjah's investment environment. The Authority emphasised its commitment to fostering a variety of investment opportunities in partnership with local and international partners, with the goal of enhancing economic growth and advancing projects that support the development of essential sectors. He added that Shurooq aims to provide all the necessary resources to support the club's journey in various competitions and enhance its position in the sports arena, with the goal of achieving more successes and accomplishments in the future.
Al Qaseer highlighted that Shurooq's support for Kalba Football Club goes beyond financial backing, as it also involves providing specialised workshops to develop youth skills and enhance their abilities. He also noted that Shurooq is partnering with the club to host sports tournaments, with the goal of enhancing the team's vision in the sports arena, encouraging engagement with other clubs, and raising the standard of competition.
