Sharjah24 - WAM: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) mobile clinic continue providing free essential healthcare services to residents of remote villages in Hadramaut, Yemen.
This initiative aligns with the UAE's humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of those living in areas without access to hospitals or health centres.

In August, the mobile clinics treated 537 patients, including 228 children, 262 women, and 83 men. Additionally, 93 laboratory tests were conducted, and the clinics successfully saved the lives of numerous patients.

These mobile clinics regularly visit the villages and areas of Hadramaut, including the rugged mountainous regions, overcoming significant challenges to deliver their humanitarian services.

Beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude to the UAE, stating that the regular arrival of the clinics has relieved them of the burden of travelling long distances to hospitals.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health and Population in the governorate have commended the clinics for their significant contribution to alleviating the suffering of residents who struggle to reach health centres. They praised the UAE's health initiatives for providing comprehensive and free healthcare services regularly.

The mobile clinics are equipped with a specialised medical team that plays a vital role in addressing the healthcare needs of children and women who are often deprived of necessary medical care.
