Sharjah 24 – WAM: Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, and in collaboration with strategic partner ADNEC Group, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) returns for its 21st edition from 31st August to 8th September 2024, at the ADNEC Centre, Abu Dhabi.
This year’s event, the largest to date, will feature thousands of brands across 11 sectors, combining Emirati traditions with innovation and offering new business opportunities.

A main attraction of ADIHEX 2024 is the Falcon Auction, held in two rounds: the first on 31st August and 1st September, and the second on 6th and 7th September.

The auction, taking place from 19:30 to 20:30, will see 10 to 20 falcons auctioned daily, with detailed statistics and measurements for each bird.

The auction is open to all falconers, providing a selection of falcons that meet high standards. Falcon farm owners must meet criteria set by the Emirates Falconers’ Club and register via the ADIHEX mobile app, paying a refundable participation insurance fee of AED5,000.

This year introduces the ADIHEX Falcons Badge, recognising high-quality falcons bought at the event. Eligible falcons, purchased during ADIHEX, will be evaluated by the Emirates Falconers’ Club and, if approved, receive a Smart Ring for a registration fee of AED150. Approved birds will be added to the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club system, making them eligible for the Presidents Championship 2024-2025.

Falconry, a tradition in Emirati culture for over 2,000 years, is a sport that represents patience, cooperation, and a connection between falconers and their birds. Recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, falconry continues as a symbol of identity and sustainability. ADIHEX highlights this tradition, showcasing the UAE’s leadership in sustainable hunting practices and falcon breeding research.
