Ancelotti demands Real Madrid win vs. Valladolid after draw

Sharjah 24 – AFP: After the draw with Mallorca, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti stressed the importance of winning against Valladolid in their upcoming La Liga match on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid began their title defense with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Real Mallorca, dropping their first two points of the season.

"It's crucial to play well at home and secure a win," Ancelotti said in a Friday press conference. He emphasized that the team had worked on correcting issues from the Mallorca game and that the Valladolid match would be a good test.

Ancelotti also highlighted the debut of Kylian Mbappé at the Bernabéu, noting the excitement surrounding his first appearance in a Real Madrid shirt. Mbappé joined Real Madrid after leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The coach expressed concerns about Jude Bellingham’s fitness, mentioning that the English midfielder is being assessed for a knock. He also spoke about the team's depth, noting the young players and Tchouameni as key resources in case of emergencies.
