Sultan Al Qasimi performs Eid Al Adha prayer at Sharjah Mosque

Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, performed, on Sunday, the Eid Al Adha prayer in Sharjah Mosque.
The Eid prayer was also attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of Department of Statistics and Community Development, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Department, Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah International Airport Authority, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director of General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Sharjah, a number of sheikhs, His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, and heads of local and federal departments and institutions.







His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Mansour delivered a sermon on Eid Al Adha, in which he discussed the rituals of the Eid, their importance, and the greatness of their status before God Almighty, following the example of the Prophet of God, Ibrahim, peace be upon him, citing the noble verse “Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice,” noting that the days of Eid are days of joy and happiness, calling for the necessity of showing joy, visiting one’s relatives, adhering to upright religious teachings, striving to attain God’s pleasure, and staying away from what He has forbidden.

He pointed out the blessing of children, recommending that fathers and mothers be careful to raise them in a way that pleases God Almighty, to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet in their upbringing, to teach them to pray and be careful of it, and to be kind to wives and daughters because of its great responsibility, in addition to accustoming the children to the rituals of God on Eid Al Adha so that they adhere to them and live by them.






He also gave many pieces of advice to individuals and groups of society, recommending that they adhere to the commands of God Almighty in all matters of their lives and avoid His prohibitions, hoping that the Almighty God will return happy religious occasions to the leadership and people of the UAE with health, wellness, security and safety.
