Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, emphasised that the UAE government prioritises enhancing its healthcare sector.
He stated that the UAE is committed to investing in top-tier healthcare services, adhering to the highest global standards, and applying these standards in critical specialisations to support the nation's development pillars.

Sheikh Hamad, accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, made the remarks during his visit to the Colleges of Health Sciences and Information Technology at the University of Fujairah. Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Authority for Culture and Information and Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi were also present.

They were welcomed by Saeed Mohammed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, and other officials.

The Ruler of Fujairah visited the College of Health Sciences and was briefed about the Medical Simulation Centre, which showcases advanced technologies used in hospitals. The visit included classrooms, labs, and scientific facilities. Sheikh Hamad was also shown the latest educational tools for diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, he visited the College of Information Technology to learn about new specialisations such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, networks, and information security. This college is of great interest to technology companies.

Al Raqbani thanked the Ruler of Fujairah and the Crown Prince for their visit and the unlimited support provided by Sheikh Hamad to the university.

A number of officials accompanied Sheikh Hamad during the visit.
