Sharjah 24: Iman Al Obaidly, Head of the Cultural Awards Department at the Sharjah Book Authority, announced that out of 425 submissions, 236 artworks have been selected for display at the Sharjah Exhibition for Children Books’ Illustrations, part of the Sharjah International Book Fair.

Al Obaidly highlighted the participation of 71 artists from various Arab and foreign countries, with a specialised jury from Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and European nations collaborating to select the artworks.

In an interview with “Sharjah 24,” Al Obaidly mentioned that the exhibition features three first-place winners from South Korea, Mexico, and Greece, along with several incentive prizes. The aim of the exhibition is to support Emirati and international artists and enhance the visual content of children’s books.
