Sharjah24 - WAM: Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, stated that Ras Al Khaimah's strategy for sustainable development relies on balancing economic sectors to boost growth, solidify the emirate's status as a top destination for advanced industries, and foster innovation.
This came at the opening ceremony of the Al Ghurair Metal Industries factory in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone in Ras Al Khaimah, affiliated with Al Ghurair Investment Group, which was held in cooperation with the leading Japanese company, Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec.

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah highlighted the emirate's capacity to spearhead industrial growth in the UAE, leveraging its strategic location, modern infrastructure, and competitive advantages. These factors enable companies to thrive, expand, and tap into global markets, propelling economic success to broader horizons.

He added, “Ras Al Khaimah is committed to fostering an optimal business environment, drawing both local and international investments into the industrial sector while upholding the highest international standards. Our focus lies in promoting innovation, environmental preservation, and embracing cutting-edge technical solutions in this pivotal sector, which serves as a fundamental pillar in achieving development and crafting a brighter future for generations to come."

Following the unveiling ceremony for the inauguration of the state-of-the-art factory, His Highness conducted an inspection tour inside. He received briefings from officials regarding the manufacturing lines' capabilities, which produce 4 million square meters of aluminium composite panels, 17,000 metric tons of coated and colour-coded coils, and one million square meters of fire-resistant panels annually.
