Sharjah24: Sharjah Art Foundation’s season of performance, Perform Sharjah, brings together 16 artists from diverse disciplines at Perhaps Here, exploring the orbits of contemporary imagination through a variety of live performances including eight new commissioned productions. Tarek Abu El Fetouh, Director of Performance and Senior Curator at Sharjah Art Foundation, reported that " Perhaps Here " witnessed a significant turnout from theater, performing arts, literature, and poetry enthusiasts, adding that many people eagerly attended these shows, which lasted for 3 days.
According to Abou El Fetouh's statements to "Sharjah 24," the experiment's slogan " Perhaps Here " was inspired by the title of poet Khuloud Al Maalla's fourth collection of poems.
The Director of Performing Arts at the Sharjah Art Foundation also mentioned that the second season of the "Sharjah Shows" will include the show of Honkaru by Indian director Mohit Takalkar.
