On Tuesday, Expo Khorfakkan launched the seventh edition of Khorfakkan Book Fair, under the slogan “Today’s Reader... Tomorrow’s Leader.”
Khalil Al Mansouri, Director of Expo Khorfakkan, said that the centre resumed organising the exhibition after a long pause caused by the Corona pandemic, pointing out that it is an addition to the cultural scene and movement in the Eastern Region in general, and Khorfakkan in particular.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Khalil Al Mansouri added that the exhibition in the new edition includes the participation of about 30 institutions, including publishing houses, libraries, and government institutions, in coordination with the Sharjah Educational Zone and University of Khorfakkan.
Al Mansouri explained that the exhibition embraces several cultural events, competitions, and educational workshops for children, noting that the exhibition will be open daily from 9 am to 1 pm, and from 4 pm to 9 pm, until February 10.
