The Council approved the launch of the Model Farmer's Guide, which aims to enhance Sharjah's vision of achieving healthy food security free of harmful substances and encourage community members to start sustainable agricultural projects and establish entrepreneurs in the productive agriculture field.
The guide works to lift the burden on farmers. It will act as a reference for emerging entrepreneurs and those interested in agricultural production. It will also raise awareness and education about the importance of agriculture and the sustainability of the agricultural production journey.
The Executive Council agreed to operate a transport service between Sharjah and Muscat of Oman, according to the agreement between the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) and Oman National Transport Company – Mwasalat.
Daily trips will be operated from Al Jubail Station in Sharjah to Al Azaiba Bus Station in Muscat and vice versa.
The Council approved exempting 102 pioneering projects, funded by Sharjah SME "RUWAD", by 50% from government agency fees for two years, with a total value of AED1.086 million, from various types of economic activities across all cities and regions of the emirate.
