Sharjah24 - AFP: Thousands of tourists brave sub zero temperatures for glimpses of ice sculptures and fireworks on the opening day of the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival in China's northern Heilongjiang province, bordering Russia.
Temperatures reached a low of -24°C, but tourists say that seeing the dazzling sculptures was worth the cold.
