SEC agrees on new health insurance terms

The council discussed several topics related to government work, supporting investors in the emirate, and taking decisions to enhance joint work between government bodies.
The council approved renewing the health insurance policy for Sharjah Government employees for 2024 , adding new benefits, and raising some of the previous benefits ceiling.
More than 116,000  people benefit from health insurance, representing Sharjah government agency employees and retirees and their families, including the parents of citizen employees.
Furthermore, The council discussed the draft general budget for Sharjah government departments for 2024, directing the draft budget to be referred to the Sharjah Consultative Council for discussion and the completion of its legislative term.
