Sharjah24: At the Abu Dhabi International Championship, Hamad Al Shehhi of Hamriya earned first place in the 50-metre freestyle competition. Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, in conjunction with the UAE Swimming Federation and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, provided sponsorship and hosted the tournament on December 8th, 9th, and 10th.
Not only did Hamad Al Shehhi take home the gold, but he also broke his own record with a time of 25.73.
The new accomplishment brought immense delight to Al Shehhi, who dedicated it to the president and board members of Hamriya Club, as well as his coaches and teammates. He committed himself to winning even more championships in the future.
Captain Ahmed Jamal Al-Din, the technical director of the Hamriya swimming team, and Mohammed Al Shamsi, the team administrator, both highlighted the important role of the club's administration in the team's successes, which were made possible by their unwavering support and the utilisation of all favourable circumstances.
