Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated Souq Al Jubail in Al Dhaid, on Monday morning.

His Highness the Ruler confirmed that the central region will witness numerous development projects by the end of 2024, starting with Al Dhaid University, which will be inaugurated in September 2024, in addition to other projects such as investment buildings allocated to families with low incomes and projects in Mleiha and Al Madam.
His Highness pointed out that the current projects are for the region's benefit and are environmentally friendly, such as the cow and poultry farm, the wheat farm, and the vegetable farm. He added that Al Dhaid University, including a college for agriculture, will support students by allocating farms, helping them train, and backing agricultural projects to achieve self-production in the region.
His Highness praised the people of the central region, the kind of people who are committed to their customs and traditions, promising to preserve them by launching numerous projects and enacting laws that contribute to protecting the region's cities.
Immediately upon his arrival, His Highness removed the curtain to mark the market's inauguration ceremony. His Highness then toured the market's various sections and was briefed on the market's services provided to the customers.

The market includes four sections: the meat section, the fruit and vegetable section, the fish section, and the central courtyard, in addition to warehouses and freezers.
During his tour, His Highness the Ruler saw the market's architectural designs, as it bears Islamic features, which go for internal and external decorations.
The building also has high specifications regarding security and safety ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for its customers.
His Highness viewed a presentation that covered the most prominent features of the market, which includes 86 various commercial stores( 24 meat and poultry stores and 45 vegetables and fruits, 16 fish stores, in addition to allocating a side space to be used as a branch of the cooperative society or a supermarket. The central courtyard includes restaurants, cafés, a reception desk, a children's playground, and prayer rooms.

The opening was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Central Finance Department; Sheikh Saud bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, CEO of the real estate sector in Sharjah Asset Management; and several department heads senior officials.
