Sharjah24: The Community Engagement Manager at Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa), Iman bin Shiba, reported that Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre in collaboration with EY Financial Consulting Company, organised an important discussion session entitled "An Overview of Corporate Tax and Value Added Tax in the United Arab Emirates." The goal of the seminar was to introduce small- and medium-sized business owners with important aspects related to value-added tax and taxes.
Iman bin Shiba emphasised in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24" that the session discussed details about the fundamental concepts of corporate tax and value-added tax in the UAE, including the legislation and regulations related to these taxes. To maintain legal compliance and prevent any fines or potential tax issues, the financial commitments and tax processes that business owners must follow were presented.
Iman added that the session addressed the financial challenges that entrepreneurs face regarding taxes and value-added tax. It also provided advice and strategies for improving tax management and achieving proper financial compliance.
