Sharjah24: Ali Abdullah bin Numah Al Katbi, the shooting game supervisor at Al Dhaid Club revealed that the official delegation of the UAE Air Shooting Team competing in the Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, included three players from Al Dhaid Club, adding that this participation is particularly significant for the Olympic qualification.
Al Ketbi continued that the athletes taking part in the Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, have achieved great results during their participation in the camp organised in Al Ain city as part of their preparations for the event, stressing that the players aspire to raise the UAE flag in international competitions and achieve commendable results in this significant championship.
Highlighting the significance of the players’ participation in such global competition, he added in statements to "Sharjah 24" that the upcoming sport event represents one of the last opportunities to win medals and qualify for the Olympics, involving the participation of players representing the best shooters in the rifle and pistol categories.
