Sharjah24 – AFP: Crowds gather to witness a giant rubber duck that is making a splash in Leonardtown, Maryland. The inflatable duck which stands at 61 feet tall claims to be the world’s largest and will be making Leonardtown its home from August 4 through August 6. “It’s a dream come true,” exclaims one rubber duck enthusiast.
Commenting on this, Emily Ducky Donoghue, artist said, "I've been wanting to see this duck for as long as I can remember. My sister showed me a picture of this when I was maybe like a 11 years old and since then I've been wanting to see this duck for so long because I've been in love with ducks since I was so little. This is like a dream come true."
Amber Mundy, graduate added, "I'm here to see the giant duck! I love ducks, I collect them so I wanted to see it for the first time. Because I've seen it growing up but I wanted to see it for real now it came to Maryland - I was going to go to Toronto to see it so I'm glad it came here."
Another graduate, Maria Sandoval continued, "I'm looking at it now and it's definitely a lot bigger than I expected it to be and it's really cool."
