Sharjah24 – AFP: A kilometres-long caravan of trailers loaded with used cars meanders on a dusty road leading to a customs terminal in the Armenian city of Gyumri.
While the US and the EU have banned the export of vehicles to Russia, cars can still be exported through Armenia and 31-year-old Russian used car dealer Yaroslav Kolchenko stands to gain.
"There is a car drought, dealers without cars. This scheme, in a nutshell, is today the only way by which cars enter Russian territory," he stated.
