Sharjah24 – WAM: Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, received a briefing on the ministry's recent international recognition for its efforts in supporting and developing talented employees, aligning with global best practices.
The ministry has become the first entity in the region to be honoured with this esteemed award, placing it among the leading global government entities in this regard.
During the briefing, Col. Dr. Omar Al Ali, Director-General of Competency Development at the Ministry of Interior, provided an overview of the award named “The Best in Talent Management”. This accolade was granted to the ministry by the American Organisation for Talent Management and Development (Associate for Talent Development), an influential international organisation with members from over 120 countries.
The MoI was recognised with this award due to its outstanding achievements in headhunting talented employees and hiring talent development solutions as a fundamental component of its strategic plans. The ministry's practices have yielded sustainable and measurable results in talent development and empowerment. These include implementing policies, procedures, plans, and initiatives and utilising strategic impact, standards, indicators, evaluations, and support systems to motivate and manage talent effectively.
Established in 2003, this award holds significant international prestige and is open to organisations at all levels and sectors, private or government, for-profit or non-profit. It is presented annually to entities that meet the rigorous standards and requirements set forth by the awarding body.
