Sharjah24 – AFP: Pakistan authorities began preparations to evacuate 80,000 people out of the path of an approaching cyclone.
Cyclone Biparjoy is making its way across the Arabian Sea towards the coastlines of Pakistan and India and is expected to make landfall at the end of the week.
Arsalan Tariq, Sujawal District Assistant Commissioner stated, "We want to evacuate the people in the wake of the cyclone that is coming, so we are here to talk to people to negotiate with them to provide transport, fuel and everything they need."
