Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended last night a reception hosted by Lorenzo Fanara, Italy's Ambassador to the UAE, on the occasion of his country's National Day.
Present at the event, which held at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, were Aisha Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of Emirati officials, heads of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE and members of Italian resident community in the country.
In his opening speech, Ambassador Fanara, said the Emirati-Italian relations had been witnessing steady growth, noting that the UAE is the most important trade partner of Italy in the Middle East.
