Sharjah 24: Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, praised the size of the distinguished participation in the fourth edition of the Jewels of Emirates Show, which will run until June 4.
He said that a group of Emirati gold and jewelry designers, along with more than 100 exhibitors of the most famous local brands in gold, silver, diamonds and precious stones are participating in the show.
He added to “Sharjah 24” that the four-day show, supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is the first UAE event of its kind specialised in diamond jewelry, gold, silver and pearls, and luxury watches and perfumes.
Al Midfa pointed out that the UAE topped the countries of the Middle East in the volume of gold sales during the past year, stressing the keenness of the Expo Centre Sharjah to continue its efforts to support the gold industry and trade at the local level, especially since the centre has become a major platform for the trade of gold, jewelry and watches in the Middle East and is a destination for the most famous brands, merchants, designers and craftsmen who are racing to enhance their presence in the region's markets.
