UAE Ambassador presents credentials to GG of Solomon Islands

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Abdullah Ali Ateeq Al Sabousi, UAE Ambassador to Australia, presented his credentials as Non-Resident Ambassador to the Solomon Islands to Sir David Vunagi, Governor-General of the Solomon Islands.
During the meeting, Al Sabousi conveyed to Vunagi the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, as well as their wishes for further development and prosperity for the people of the Solomon Islands.

For his part, Vunagi expressed his greetings to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the people of the UAE.

Vunagi wished the Ambassador success in his work to develop and strengthen relations in various fields between the two countries, stressing his country's readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his duties.

For his part, Al Sabousi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in the Solomon Islands and his keenness to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields, in a way that contributes to deepening the bonds of friendship between the two countries.

During the meeting, they reviewed areas of cooperation between the UAE and Solomon Islands, and discussed ways to develop them in order to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two countries and peoples.

Al Sabousi also met with Manasseh Sogavare, Prime Minister, and Jeremiah Manele, Minister of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, they discussed strengthening relations between the two countries in all fields.
