Sheikh Sultan witnessed a portion of the contests in the final episode of the cultural and social programme's third session.
Hussain Al Ali's team from the Wasit Suburb Council won first place and a car provided by Sharjah Islamic Bank, as well as DH 60,000 provided by Sharjah Radio, while Matar Al-Rashdi's team from the Bustan Suburb Council won second place and DH 40,000, while Khalifa Al Ketbi's team from the Al Bustan Suburb Council took third place and got DH 20 thousand. All winners received memory shields in recognition of their efforts and active involvement in the initiative.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council honoured the cooperating parties, namely the Sharjah Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, the University of Sharjah, and Sharjah Islamic Bank, the official sponsor of the award, and took memorial photos with the "Al Majalis Star” programme me team.
The "Al Majalis Star" is one of the Emirati families' favourite contests and general information programmes.
The closing ceremony of the programme, in addition to the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, was attended by: Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, Dr Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Chairman of Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence and Excellence Committee, Mohammed Abdullah, CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, and Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority , Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Secretary General of the Sharjah Media Council, Dr Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs , Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Director of the University of Sharjah, and a number of officials, heads and members of suburban councils and the families of the participants.
