This came during His Highness’ attendance of the graduation annual ceremony of the 5th batch of the certified Qura'a (Holy Quran reciters) from the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, which was held in the University City Hall, where His Highness signed the first volumes of the encyclopedia of the Holy Quran Rhetorical Interpretation.
Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Holy Qur'an Academy delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, lauding his generous support of the Academy’s various projects, contributing in promoting the Academy’s position as a global scientific beacon.
During the event, Dr. Mabrouk Zaid Al-Khair, a member of the arbitration committee in the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation, gave a speech on behalf of the arbitration and review committee, in which he expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, for his generous giving, lauding his keenness to support the Holy Quran’s students and scholars, through their journey in learning and teaching the Quran’s sciences and memorisation.
The first phase of the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation contains 9 volumes, beginning with Surat Al-Fatihah and ending with Surat Al-Ma’idah verse 106, distinguished with its unique approach of interpretation that uses simplicity method in providing the information.
The work on the first phase of the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation spanned a whole year, with witnessing a participation of 33 scholars specialised in interpretation, language and rhetoric.
Then, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah kindly took memorial photos with the scholars who are members of the Arbitration and Review Committee.
For his part, Dr. Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, Secretary-General of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah delivered a speech during the graduation ceremony, in which he highlighted the Academy’s most prominent achievements during the previous period.
Dr. Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher congratulated the fifth batch of the Academy’s 248 graduates, praising their efforts. He has further extended thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, lauding his unlimited support and constant follow-up.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Head of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, handed over the Quranic Ijazas to the graduates, congratulating them on their great achievement and wishing them success.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and a number of scholars, academics and families of the graduates.
