Sharjah 24: The 51st edition of the Watch & Jewellery Middle East (WJME) Show is kicking off Wednesday at the Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS), offering gold and jewellery lovers a unique journey that glitters with the exclusive offers in the world of dazzling grandeur of gold, diamonds, gems and luxury watches, presented by over 500 local and international exhibitors, along with the most famous brands of gold, diamonds and deluxe watches.
During the exhibition, which lasts until March 12, jewellery fans will have a chance to see one of the largest global gatherings of companies, traders, and local and international players specialised in designing and manufacturing gold and jewellery, with this year's edition witnessing for the first time various participations from South Korea, Russia and Switzerland, not to mention an elite of the most prominent local, regional and international companies. The event, which stretches over a total area of 30,000 square metres, boasts national pavilions of a number of leading countries in the jewellery industry, including India with more than 60 companies, Italy with 35 companies, and Hong Kong with 30 companies.
It is expected that the exhibition will achieve satisfactory results for the gold and jewellery dealers and manufacturers, and will contribute to increasing their sales, especially since the exhibition annually witnesses a huge turnout as visitors long for the event to learn about the latest select collections of luxury jewellery, unique watches, precious stones and diamond works, seizing the opportunity to shop at attractive prices.
The event stands out with its dazzling presentation of the latest modern works, including gold and diamond sets, and the finest gold lines and trends inspired by the Emirati heritage, especially taking into account the wide participation of local companies and Emirati designers. Visitors to the exhibition will also have the opportunity to win many jewellery and diamonds prizes.
The exhibition is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and on Friday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
